Use lemon juice instead of white vinegar because the smell is more pleasant. Fill the reservoir half full with water, then to the top with pulp- free lemon juice. Use a ready-to-use juice. Run the coffee maker through its entire cycle. Discard the solution in the coffe pot and then run the brew cycle two or three more times with plain water until you don't smell lemon anymore. Wash all removable parts in hot, sudsy water, then rinse and dry.
